Your Final Journey (4:17)

Cover of Not Afternoon, But Evening

From Not Afternoon, But Evening

Six sample tracks from the new HealeyIsland album, released on White Label Music on 28/10/2009. The CD comes in a tobacco tin style metal box with art work.
Described as having an atmosphere of smokey, electronic, down-at-heel cabaret. Elements of warm jazz and light music mixed with close up electronic beats, basses, melodies and momentary glitches. A journey through an imaginary landscape of run down ballrooms, dance halls and clubs, through lives and stories.

Okay, Healey - this is weird, but I like it. Like Jack Nicholson in "The Shining". Cooped up too long in a spooky old hotel in the dead of winter, closed for the season, (dead) people start to dance in the ballrooms from long ago. Scared the crap out of me, but I liked it, too... See what Agroangus thinks - he's Jack's alter ego.
