  • Nice set in Sheffield
  • Regardless of the politics/marketing/etc, We Are One is a stellar release.
  • I was lucky to catch the Hawklords tour in 78. I think Brock envisaged a sabbatical from Hawkwind but really the project was integral to the band's development. • Ho there, Fans of The Hawklords might like to look out http://www.last.fm/music/Secrets+For+September who are a new Prog / Space / Dub rock band from Dartmoor England please have a listen

I met him before he sadly passed away and enjoyed his company and his advice concerning my dabble with electronic music. Sonic Assassins was the progression from Hawklords to Hawkwind reforming in 1979 and the whole thing started all over again with Brock at the helm of Spaceship Hawkwind ... not forgetting the album PXR5 ...
  • Love Hawkwind AND Hawklord the same :)
