Zero Nine is a hard rock sextet formed in Kuusamo, Finland in 1978. The band first achieved mainstream exposure in 1980, when their debut single Down The Line won the poll in an episode of finnish TV show "Levyraati".
Gringos Locos is a southern boogie-influenced finnish hard rock band formed in 1986. They were the first finnish band since Hanoi Rocks to sign a worldwide record deal with a major label as Polygram signed them for a seven album deal after the release of their debut album Gringos Locos in 1987. British rock magazine Kerrang! awarded the album a 5 K-rating.
There are at least 3 bands called Backsliders. One is from Australia (see http://www.backsliders.com.au ) and the other, from Finland, is described below. The third is an alternative country rock band from Raleigh, North Carolina.
Shooting Gallery was a group of sleaze rockers with a bad attitude, four of five members being in jail at one point in their lives. One album and tour was all this band of misfits could endure before falling apart. Formed by guitarist Andy McCoy who had gained cult status with Hanoi Rocks.
1) Boycott is band from Czech Republic. ...Moravian-Silesian four-piece group playing particularly hardcore-melalcore music, officially saw the light of day in 2005. Band members were changed several times before present-day appearance.

Their career began in 80s. At first they made cover versions in Finnish of The Ramones' material. Their first album had only Ramones's covers. After their first album they made albums where most of the songs were their own.
