15 Aug 2008, 16:24 by SirTheoryI wrote it for a message board, but felt like that was a lot of effort for just a message board, so I'm cross-posting it wherever I feel like. I was going to do facebook, til I realized I'd have to totally reformat it. So I picked here instead. All the important people are here, anyway. ;-)
So anyone 99 top albums...
... with one TBD title.
Reverse ranked (for great surprise factor)... with comments as I deem
they appear. (Commenting on all 100 would be ridiculous... but I
always enjoy writing (**english major nerd**)... so whatever.)
099. The New Pornographers - Mass Romantic
...Just like the awkward coupling on the cover, this album is a
no-holds-barred, somewhat spontaneous masterpiece. It lays the
groundwork for their following albums, while also putting some of the
best songs into the NP repertoire.
098. The Magic Numbers - The Magic Numbers

I Love Your Glasses (Eureka Records, 2008).

Y entonces, lo único que se escuchó fue la voz y la guitarra de Russian Red. …

Chris Schlarb is leaving Section IV open for your remix interpretations. The song is from his upcoming Twilight and Ghost Stories album, waiting to be released on December 4 through Asthmatic Kitty. The remix project is called Twilight Variations, and the song can be downloaded as WAV files or Garageband 3 file with all the arranged parts.
“With Twilight Variations I’m opening up Section IV so that anyone can pick it apart piece by piece, re-arrange it or add their own instrumentation. The beauty of this is that it allows for a deeper cross-section of what went into Twilight: things that were faded out, obscured or inaudible are now clearly presented for all who care to hear. Then, if the spirit moves, add a few melodies and ghosts of your own.”
Chris Schlarb recorded this improvisational jazz song with a group of accomplished musicians: Olando Greenhill (Havalina Rail Co.), Languis, Sebastian Krueger (Inlets), Sandy Ewen…

4 May 2006, 14:50 by randomredheadso, yesterday I was up late working until like 1:30 am. I was listening to music with my headphones and I guess I forgot to turn it off so it's been playing all day...I think it's done pretty much everything from The Flaming Lips to Jimmy Eat World (alphabetically speaking) so my charts are probably going to be sorta screwy...
in other news...er....Havalina is awesome! yeah!
