  • Nothing new to report. :(
  • Good stuff.
  • I will never give up, I will always get the itch to search for new info about them, but to replace the void left in my life I have been trying to listen to other Japanese shoe gaze bands, but nothing quite is as nuanced and cool as Hartfield... :(
  • Yeah, I stopped searching ages ago. I think they all simply called it quits for good in terms of music, though it is kinda odd that people do that. I guess they had their reasons.
  • I still haven't heard anything new about them. I started looking at Japanese web sites and found this: http://dic.nicovideo.jp/a/hartfield . I speak and read Japanese moderately well, so here's the overview: It's like wikipedia for Japanese internet nerds, more like TV Tropes than Wikipedia. Their entry on Hartfield describes their formation in Tokyo, moderate success in the very small Japanese indie shoegaze scene (Populated by mainly by coaltar of the deepers, cruyff in the bedroom, luminous orange and Hartfield, dubbed the "four kings of Japanese shoegaze heaven"). After releasing True Color True Lie, they released LIBRA, and after touring nobody has heard from them again. Two of the members left the band, leaving only two behind (The remaining members already did the vocals and guitar). The Japanese site goes on to say that "they seem to have vanished, with their public site and record site disappearing from the internet." I'll be back again with any updates I can find.
  • where the hell are you guys??
  • so till now no one managed to contact the band or whatsoever? lol been 3 years and i already give up searching "girl like you" lyric
  • Just letting everyone know: I still haven't heard of or found anything new of theirs, OTHER THAN an album called "True Color, True Lie + LIBRA & More" which was released in 2005. It contains all of the tracks from True Color, True Lie and LIBERA, along with a couple of new songs not on either album, an acoustic version of "My Charisma" (A song that I love) and a cover of another song. I was very happy to find it (It's on a torrent tracker called "Jpopsuki"), but sadly it isn't a new album. Maybe they will pull a "My Bloody Valentine" and release an album years and years after their latest release, I am always hopeful and check up on this band's status every few months. Please post here if you learn about anything new that they do.
  • God fucking damn it I love this band
