This is the second film franchise Harry Gregson-Williams has worked on with director Andrew Adamson (first was the 2001 animated feature, Shrek). Gregson-Williams would later go onto compose the Prince Caspian film, which would be his last for this series.

Most themes are present on the soundtrack with the addition of four songs. “The Battle” theme is probably the key theme here (along with “Evacuating London”, the main title).

    On the expanded soundtrack, I would like to point out there is another good track that uses a more toned down version of the theme from Evacuating London track. It's rather beautiful and calm and it plays when you see the Pevensie children walking through the woods.
