  • The new record is a fitting end to Harley Poe. From what Joe says on his blog, this may be the last we hear from this group for a while. Damn shame, but the legacy of records Whiteford left won't be forgotten. I certainly intend to remember the lyrics to "Transvestites Can Be Cannibals Too" for as long as I can.
  • Found these guys completely at random from a google music suggestion. Very much reminds me of an unabashedly offensive Mischief Brew. Pretty phenomenal stuff, both with the playing and the delightfully witty storytelling lyrics.

  • Me like - want more - I hadn't thought about it but now that someone mentioned it there is some comparison to Violent Femmes (Blister in the Sun) style - but definitely his own sound. Sad he didn't play anywhere near me for Halloween - Need to see him live.
