//Growing up, classical music made up the soundtrack. Both Hannah Schneiders parents are musicians, and there was music on every floor of the small row house in the Copenhagen suburb Virum. After learning how to walk, She walked the straight line into music high school, playing in bands, singing in choirs, and eventually ending up at the conservatory in Copenhagen. But suddenly it seemed to her there were no roads left untaken. So like Pinocchio, she decided to cut her strings, afraid that She’d never learn to stand on her own two feet. This is the music that came out of it/// —————————————————————————————————————————————————— Hannah Schneider has written songs with several established Danish and international songwriters; the American singer songwriter Kim Richey (the song “The Absence of Your Company” is on her 2007 album “Chinese Boxes”. The song was recently featured on the American TV series “Grey’s Anatomy”). Hannah has also written songs with Itaal Shur (Rob Thomas, Santana, Maxwell), Phil Galdston (Celine Dion, Vanessa Williams, Brandy) and Jeff Cohen (Macy Grey, Teitur) In 2006 She co-wrote and sang on the gold selling hitsingle “Kig forbi” on the Danish rapper Johnson’s debut album.
