Kaw-Liga, was a wooden Indian standing by the door
He fell in love with an Indian maid over in the antique store
Kaw-Liga, just stood there and never let it show
So she could never answer yes or no

Hank Williams will always be a classic country singer. Anyone should be able to enjoy his music.

My father loved old Hank and so do I. I have a man that loves him too and can sing all his songs. So, Hank is still with us!!!

Kawligaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Move it on over,a contender for the first Rock and Roll song, note the similarities with Rock around the clock.

I remember my Dad singing this song to me when we had those "sing a silly song" moments. I used to laugh when I heard him sing this song to me. That's why I like it so much! But it's nice to hear it from the original singer, too. I love this song.
