Version 15

There is more than one band with the name Hands:

[1] Shane Ochsner, Josh Silbernagel, Chris Schwartz and Jerik Hendrickson are collectively Hands, a band that combines circling atmospheric guitars punctuated with hard hitting progressions. They are a band in which rock and roll meets ambient hardcore and warm silvery singing rivals hardcore screams. The warmth of their songs is in strong contrast to the raw biting North Dakota weather that surrounds them. Their songs are carefully crafted and layered with hope and strength, their evocative lyrics and emotional vocals leave Hands open-hearted to listeners. Ochsner’s voice carries seamlessly from throaty growl to melodic yell and settles beautifully into sweet harmony as the songs progress.

[2] Experimental and mostly electronic music duo from Finland.

[3] Hands are a band of the late 1970’s, and has four albums, two of which were released retrospectively in the 90’s. Self titled debut ‘Hands’ was released in 1977, ‘Palm Mystery’ in 1996, “Twenty Five Winters” in 2002 and “Strangelet” in 2008.

[4] A mystic ramshackle DYI psych outfit from bedrooms in Paris, TX. Hands are on the Paxico Records label, with a rotating cast of players: Jon royale, gladiola, cassia, Gary Dubriel, Emily Strand, David Steinman. Their first releases surfaced in 2008 and 2009.

[5] Norwegian electro-pop duo HandS - Hakon and Sofie.
