Painter was a Canadian rock band formed in the early 1970s in Calgary. Painter recorded their self-titled LP in Seattle which spawned one Top-20 charting single, "West Coast Woman", on Elektra in 1973. Follow-up singles "Going Home To Rock And Roll" and "Song For Sunshine" failed to ignite the charts after which Beattie and Lowe renamed the group, again, as Hammersmith.
THE BROADYS originate from Mont-Tremblant (Québec, Canada). They are an alternative-rock trio, performing in English. The band is Dominic Parent (vocal/guitar), Martin Lefort (drums) and Mathieu Lamarche (bass). The band has released their eponymous début album The Broadys in February 2011.

A Common Misconception, an experimental rock outfit from Cornwall, Ontario, formed in 2006 when singer Jean-Marc Guindon and guitarist Braunson Lalonde decided to form a band. The two put posters up in Ottawa, but eventually settled with high school friend Alex Morin as a second guitarist and Shaun Harvey on drums on a reccomendation from Morin.
There's a chasm between "a" and "the". Placing "a" in front of an item can indicate that it is one of many. A can be humble, unassuming. "The", on the other hand, suggests singularity. The can be audacious... presumptuous. The Silent is a little bit of column A and a little bit of column THE.
Fellow Namless began in his 8th grade with some of classmates at Lester B. Pearson School for the Arts under the name of Slipnaught, a name they randomly chose from a dictionary because they did not have a name for the band when it came time to perform on stage.
