Biography

With the debut of their first full length record “Phases” released almost a year ago, Hail Your Highness has begun to take their music to a whole new level. The past year has really put to the test the strengths and exposed the weaknesses of the band and through those trials there has been immense growth. Not only have they grown as song writers and performers, but also on a deeper level of friendship and trust. Going through a member change last year shook the band’s foundation a little, but through that loss they were able to add and complete what they believe is now the strongest line-up they’ve had in 4 1/2 years of playing together.

Being fronted by 2 females there’s always going to be that infamous stereotype of “girls aren’t as good as guys in bands,” but as soon as these two open their mouths, jaws drop. Jessie has a stage presence and dominance that just can’t be ignored and the band being in a screamo/hardcore genre, this girl has a scream that puts most guys to shame. Niki’s ability to blend, harmonize, and polish every vocal to compliment Jessie’s puts a crowd in awe and being one of the youngest and best, in most people’s opinions, female drummers out there, dumbfounds the masses. Crowds fascinate over Mike’s ability to play the way he does and still have an infectious and entertaining stage presence. And Trevor, being the newest member, brings a whole new ear and level of talent to the band, rounding out every sound.

Setting aside everything written above, this band has a passion and a heart for sharing the love of Jesus Christ to anyone and everyone who will listen. They’ve been gifted with the ability to take a sound and style of music that is appealing to their generation and use that to cut right to the heart. Hail Your Highness’ music is upfront in your face, relevant, and not afraid to share the good, the bad, and the ugly, but through that vulnerability and honesty they are able to captivate the hearts of a generation crying out for love, guidance and acceptance. “When you can see in someone’s eyes that your music has truly touched them, that’s all we can ever ask for.” –Jessie
