Cheikh El Hadj Mohamed Tahar El Fergani, born May 9, 1928 in the city of Constantine, began in the mid-40s, along with the late Sheikh El-Missoum and Ahmed Wahby, in the modern genre. He comes from a family of music lovers. His father was a virtuoso "hawzi. Mohamed Tahar El Fergani has become one of the great masters of song Algerian n addition, El-Hajj Fergani had the merit to bring the Malouf in his heart beyond national borders as a first sensitive means of expression, and then as a passport without a visa which is known to other people the richness and variety of Algerian culture, with lots of talent, confidence, wisdom … It has not stopped defending Algerian art recording masterpieces of the song Malouf, to save a magnificent heritage unfortunately endangered.
The Fergani also from father to son, have participated in include the song malouf in large letters in the North African music and the whole world, creating the style, worshiping style, and making a great school that remains forever a deep part of the history of the Algerian people. (read less)
