Haare creates the soundtrack to the next electronic apocalypse. Windswept, slow-motion drones combine with static feedback to paint a bleak interior landscape. This is experimental nastiness taken to illogical extremes, not for the timid but highly recommended.

Haare's sole member, Ilkka Vekka, also records as Golden Vomit & Sutra, as well as playing bass in Steel Mammoth.

  • One strike every 2 years. I'll take that :) While I stand by my Cthonic Force comment, the difference here is that I'm not writing Haare off. I'm genuinely interested in hearing another album, but one which is decidedly psychedelic. I saw nothing psych about Satanic Freakout. Psychedelic noise is what i'm after.
  • physicsd00d ...... for me, this is your second strike after your [artist]chthonic force[/artist] comment a few years ago...
  • Had high expectations but was disappointed. I listened to Satanic Freakout, hoping for psychedelic noise, but all I got was some middle-of-the-road ambient noise...nothing compelling or even remotely psychedelic. Did I listen to the wrong record? What should I have tried instead? I was hoping for something like (Christine 23 Onna - the rock instrumentation)^2 .
