Biography

HNC is Yuppa’s (ゆっぱちゃん = Yuppa Chan) solo project. The concept is “making cute&fantastic&wired tracks”. She composes songs on her own and sometimes collaborates with other musicians. Her voice and music was also used in several TV commercials (e.g. mister doughnuts, family mart, mini stop, medi-cutte, etc).

HNC (2009) is officially the current name of Hazel Nuts Chocolate (2000-2009) since her album Cult (02 dec. 2009 - WHITE LILY RECORDS) but the name HNC has been visible in her myspace for a while. This idea starts with the desire to have a new name to assert her wishes to be really considered a solo project. Hazel Nuts Chocolate was created by YUPPA but completed by others, and HNC started with only YUPPA. HNC can be considered the second chapter of the story: “YUPPA’s real solo”.

She’s also with Miila in “Love And Hates” (“2 dj girls unit in a funzine&indie dj party “twee grrrls club””) & has her proper label:WHITE LILY RECORDS who only releases for the moment the pieces of HNC, LOVE AND HATES & The Pegasuss!

In January 2010 she released the single “Don’t You Think You Come to Love Me” as an iTunes-exclusive.
