Biography

Heaven’s Hemp is a 4-piece band hailing from Okinawa, Japan. The band is Ryouhei (Gt.), Natsuko(Vo.), NOB(Dr.), and Shinpei(Ba.). The band is signed to Spice Music and has released their first album on the label, “Sweet Rock”, on 03/25/2009. The releases “Epitaph”, “Letters”, and “Higurashi” were released prior to the band signing to Spice Music. Heaven’s Hemp embrace a fairly common girl rock sound. Natsuko’s sweet, high pitched vocals are paired with the bands pop/rock with a touch of jazz instrumentals. Catchy choruses are abound in songs like “Agaru to Petoro” and “Parallel Chart” while the band takes a slightly different approach with songs like “Haru to Koibito”, using different instruments and going for less rock and more acoustics. The band has been busy on tour with the “Okinawa Match-Up” Campaign to promote their music with fellow new artist like OneOneCats, and more.
