About this album

This double CD from Naxos is filed under Gustav Mahler, but should be filed under Various Artists, because only the first track “Adagietto” is from his 5th symphony. The rest is from other composers like Johann Strauss II for “The Beautiful Blue Danube”.

You can suggest a correction on each individual track page at the bottom of the right column, e.g. for The Beautiful Blue Danube. A box will open after clicking on the link with two options to edit the artist (composer name) and title (e.g. The Beautiful Blue Danube).

In the meantime I have already prepared all tracks with my suggestions, so you only have to confirm the suggested composers and titles with a click.

See also the Naxos page of this album with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland for a correct list of composers and track titles.

Aquí, aunque grites, no te oye nadie... Lo de 'El Danubio Azul' de Mahler, es clamoroso...

You have to go to each individual track page of the album, there you will find a voting link for correction. See my explanation in the album wiki, as all other tracks are also wrong.

Elgar wrote the Pomp and Circumstance March, not Mahler!

Son varios autores. No es sólo Mahler. Arréglenlo.

It's wrong! The beautiful blue danube was composed from johan strauss! And many others titles from this cd are attribuited to mahler by mistake. Please fix!!!

This CD is miscategorised. Several of the tracks are by Grieg, Strauss, Dvorak and others. However, when they appear in any last.fm raido station they are attributed to Mahler. Could someone fix this mishap, please?
