  • "Guru's Jazzmatazz" is NOT the same thing as simply "Guru" as a solo MC, so stop auto-correcting it, algorithm-fiddlers! I don't even know how to unclick the auto-correct box in this slightly unnecessary version of (why fix something that aint broke?). When I scrobble Guru's Jazzmatazz the moniker include the circle of musicians, prods. & ev. DJs Guru gathered for these projects; Guru's Jazzmatazz covers all except guest MC's/Vocalists (cause its good manners, informative & tradition to include "[feat. xxx]"-info in the song title, u always know its MCs or vocalists who are named so identifying a certain track is easy & the lyricists & singers have a considerable impact on the structure, message & appeal of a hiphop song, as opposed to a semi-famous studio musician marking the 2/4 or 3/4 with a cow bell or whatever. In rock, musicians are central, where the vocals are more like an instrument & intertwined with the structure of the song, Jazzmatazz is 85% rap after all.)
