This melody inside of me still searches for solution, this track is so grooving, the simple riff and aggressive flow of the words is golden.

All Guns N Roses rock! If you want to identify this as non GnR, then consider it a Buckethead/Bumblefoot compilation with Axl as their lead vocalist. Have any of you seen the old band live? Slash couldn't string Ron or Brians guitar and the new version of the band is amazing live unlike the drunk butchers who used to be in the band. I am still pissed that they cancelled the L.A. show with Buckethead, but I got to see them last year with Bumblefoot.

This is not a Guns n Roses track - Axl wrote and recorded a solo album over a long period of time and took $15m of record company money on the proviso he call it Guns n Roses - GnR RIP

Hang around till 2 mins 40 secs in. What starts out as a somewhat Bon Jovi-esque song suddenly goes insanely good with some mindblowing guitar work. Then it goes soft again. But those 40 odd seconds are astoundingly good.

That's true. Though if you want to get really into it, they shouldn't even have been called Guns N Roses on their first album since the band name came from Axl Rose and the original guitarist Tracii Guns. Even so, I honestly think this album would've done a lot better in the eyes of critics and the likes had it been marketed as an Axl Rose solo album. There's no denying that it's a different sound to their earlier stuff, but that's not necessarily a bad thing for everyone. [2] People come and go (and leave amazing material) but as long as Axl Rose sings it will always be a band with his vision.
