Guilt Trip are a hardcore band from Cleveland, OH who formed in late 2011 and released their demo titled “Demo-Lition” in January 2012. They play NYHC style hardcore with very heavy Cro-Mags influence.

Guilt Trip was formed from the band Chirurgie Esthetique in the early 2000’s. The shift in sound and attitude demanded a change of name.
The core of the band has always been Karl Lindberg and Magnus Nilsson. Their history dates back to the late 80’s when they started a collaboration after having worked with electronic music individually, finding a common interest in the heavier and darker side of the electronic scene of that era.
In the late 1990’s the two had moved to the Swedish capitol and there began what to them is known as the brap-sessions. These sessions led the band to discover new horizons and a new attitude towards music making and sound engineering, having always been somewhat anarchic it now turned towards controlled chaos.
