I've been listening to this album since 1975 trying to determine if their is a better one. I've failed. It's simply brilliant.

This album is of coarse a top album. But beeing the best album I don't agree. It is in any case difficult to rate an album as being the best. Nevertheless it is a pity that this band is not so well known.

This Album is superb. I rank this album as one of the best....if not THE best album I have ever heard. From start to finish it is just full on prog brilliance. Each piece is on a par with the other. You find that most albums have their duff areas...here is the exception. A faultless work of art that can be listened to over and over without ever getting bored... the harmonies involved are so clever and intricate that each time you listen you seem to hear something new. How a band like Gryphon were not world famous for being one of the best exponants of their craft is beyond me. Gryphon were highly underated, exceptionally talented...and above all sadly missed.
