Just realised how great Ed's vocal performance is in this song.

I agree with Rikardur, Eleopteryx and Darunia; every other track has something unique about it, but I can only really listen to this one if I'm feeling patient. If not, straight to A Simple Answer.

Agree with Eleopteryx, I find myself skipping ahead to A Simple Answer on recent listens. Only average song on the album.

I actually agree Eleopteryx, it does kill the momentum.

Coming from Sleeping Ute, Speak in Rounds, and then Yet Again, this one totally kills the momentum. The vocals are nice but the overall composition is dreadfully plain. I eventually came to like the rest of the album but I still think this is the low point.

This was the last song on this album for me to like, but it's getting there.

I believe that statement, but I don't know, this song fails to make me feel anything. If it takes lyrics to elevate the emotions I feel that I should be getting from the music most of all, then there is something wrong. I expect that from someone like Dylan or Leonard Cohen. The vocals are really nice but nice isn't enough. I simply feel the song arrangement isn't doing the delivery justice.

@rikardur beauty in simplicity. Listen to the lyrics. Best vocal take I've ever heard of Ed's
