Grinn (AKA Grinn (UK)) are a four piece punk/heavy rock band from West Yorkshire with a wide range of punk and alternative rock influences.
Started in early 2000 by lead singer and guitarist Ian, Grinn quickly built up a reputation for high energy stage shows finding favour with fans of punk and heavy rock alike. Their first album, the ultra low budget ‘Grinnstitutionalized’ was released in 2003 and won Grinn a BBC Radio live session. Core song writing duties are shared by Ian and lead guitarist Paddy.

The ‘Bubblegum and Machine Guns’ Album was released in 2004 again on a very low budget and gained more fans, better gig offers and some radio play. After a relatively inactive year Grinn Paddy took some time off and the band pressed on as a three piece releasing the ‘Ordinary Day’ album in July 2007 and touring to support it, including support slots with The Damned and The Loyalties as well as regular appearances with Slash Vegas.

Paddy is now back in the fold and work in progressing recording a lost songs EP and writing for the forth album.

In June 2009 Ian joined Gothic Rock band Rhombus as Rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist and co-wrote and appears on the acclaimed 2010 album Open The Sky

Paddy formed respected Prince tribute act Endorphin Machine
