Biography
Greg Lake began his musical career as bass player and vocalist for progressive rock pioneers King Crimson. Lake appears on the band’s debut album, and he also recorded vocals for the follow-up, but quit the band before its release.
After leaving King Crimson, Lake teamed up with Keith Emerson (The Nice) and Carl Palmer (Atomic Rooster) to form Emerson, Lake & Palmer.

Heh, I didn't know he did a Xmas song. Just checked the hype chart to see if RATM had hyped for their UK #1 and spotted Greg at #2. Surprising. Almost as surprising as the unrelated RATM news.
