GREEN LIZARD is a well established rock band from The Netherlands. Founded in 1994 as teenagers they almost immediately secured themselves of a large and loyal fan base in their hometown Tilburg. Thanks to their enigmatic live shows and extensive touring Green Lizard built up a solid live reputation throughout Europe, played the Vans Warped Tour in 2003 and even did shows in South America.

In May of 2006, Dutch rockers GREEN LIZARD saw the release of their third record on I Scream Records in Europe. The album is called ‘Las Armas Del Silencio’ and features 10 solid rock songs which are the best the band ever did. Together with its great artwork, this record is already considered a classic in the history of GREEN LIZARD.

The new self produced album was recorded by Menno Bakker (NRA, Undeclinable) and Alejandro Londoño (Agresión), mixed by Clif Norrell (REM, The Pixies, Rollins, Faith No More, Mansun, Jeff Buckley) in Los Angeles and mastered at John Golden Mastering. Singer Remi about the recordings: ’This was definitely a new experience for us. By recording in different studios and with different people, we got the best of both worlds in this recording! Although it was extremely fun to produce it ourselves, it was a lot more work than we anticipated and we couldn’t have done it without the help of Menno and Alejandro. Of course, after recording two previous albums with a man like Clif taught us a lot about making a record.’
