Grand Buffet

More tags

White boy funky rap from Pittsburgh with a sometimes extreme sense of irony and humor. Rhymes that don’t always make obvious logical connections but always flow with the utmost proficiency and creativity backed by solid beats and hooks. Their lyrical subject matter ranges in topic from religion, lemonade and the illuminati to cream cheese financing and meteorites. Grand Buffet create most of their own beats but have also collaborated with such acts as Girl Talk, Gil Mantera’s Party Dream, and MC Height. Having toured all over the U.S. and Europe these indie rappers are seasoned vets.

Saw them open for Gil Mantera's Party Dream at the Echo in late 06/ early 2007 and it was phenomenal. Really need to come back and tour the west coast.

i love these guys and their live shows are fantastic, but i just tracked down Scrooge McRock and it's probably one of the worst records i've ever heard. no wonder they never really mention it.

yeah, animal collective are horrible musicians. grand buffet are hilarious, awesome, and often quite moving ("dark autumn," "cool treasure").

You seem to be on the wrong shoutbox, matt_fisher. The worst musicians ever are Animal Collective.
