Named after a river in vocalist/guitarist Christopher Pearson’s home state of Oregon, New Wave/post-punk revivalists Gran Ronde got their start in 2004. Based in Los Angeles, Pearson, Bryan Hobbs (bass), Fernando Sanchez (drums) and Neil Parek (guitar) performed at SXSW in March 2008 and released their debut album, Secret Rooms, on Filter US Recordings the same year.

    huh? they don't sound like panic or fall out boy at all... i wouldn't say they sound as the killers either; a bit of smiths, the cure (of course) and some other bands from the late 70s - 80s in their sound - they rock anyway ^^

    yea, i know em only because they are the free single of the weeek but they are not that bad, they sound like..the killers with a bit of panic at the disco and fall out boy but without the crapy lyrics.
