There is something about the New York area that makes it a compass for the future of music, and Gracer has strengthened that magnetic force even more. They however, do not follow the course of blending influences and building on an already well-beaten path, as Gracer has set out to create their own sound.
Gracer originally formed from the ashes of two Long Island staples, On The Might Of Princes and Lux Courageous. Their debut album “Voices Travel” (released on Revelation Records) recalls the sound of indie superstars such as Elliott, Sunny Day Real Estate, and Cave In. Supporting their record heavily, the band hit the road immediately after the release and never looked back from there; counting an entire Canadian run and numerous full U.S tours under their belt, their live show has been said to be, and is, an intense experience that should not be missed.

"Voices Travel" is a beautifully constructed, emotionally-driven journey into that of a vast array of human emotions. i would highly recommend Gracer to anyone with a taste for a strong performance and poppy indie rock anthems.

I still think "Voices Travel" is one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard, and I have heard quite a few. Looking forward to what Ryan has in the works for the next one.
