Goat Pervertor - Drums.

Two different CD versions have been released by Embassy: either of them is a

Wild Rags (aka Embassy USA) version contains the 8 tracks as 1 long track
without cracking.

Re-released on CD by Malicious Records in 1996. Also re-issued by Century Media
in 1999 and Season Of Mist (in digipack format) in 2005.

12” vinyl released by Agonia Records in 2005, limited to 1000 (same cover-art
as the Season Of Mist re-release).

Re-released in 2006 by Back On Black Records as gatefold LP.

Re-released as a remastered jewel case CD by Regain Records in 2007 and retains
the original artwork.

Aserihclem - The vocals weren't pitch-shifted. There's live footage of Hat singing in the exact same register: Pitch-shifting? In 1993? In a four-track recording studio? That's rich.

Delightful album. Typifies that romantic 2nd wave sound while still, y'know, having riffs!

do not like at all. Hat is the worst singer Gorgoroth has ever had and I can't stand Gaahl either.

the vocals are inhuman because they have been pitch shifted. but that doesnt matter because this album and the vocals are just perfect black metal. deff there best album all because of hat and infernus.

Of all the old early 90's Norwegian black metal classics, Gorgoroth's debut, 'Pentagram' has always ranked among my favorites. With a simple title, cover artwork and a straightforward true to the bone black metal sound and production, it's an undeniable must hear recording!!!

@ahenathon Even though I was a black metal noob at the time, I still think the vocals are among the most inhuman and evil sounding shit ever recorded ^^
