Biography

Goodwill Falcon is a two piece analog synth/indie pop band from Virginia. The band began as a long distance recording project in 2008 between Nashville, TN and Williamsburg, VA and developed slowly over the years with various short length releases and EPs.

Sonically, Goodwill Falcon leans on the tonal oddity and preset beats of vintage casio keyboards and simple analog synthesizers. This arsenal has become the basis for a songwriting style that draws inspiration from the limitations and simplicity of the instruments and the feelings they evoke.

The new single, Panorama, marks the first release since the project was re-booted over the summer of 2012 with the addition of a slew of home made electronic instruments created from cassette players and outdated consumer electronics. The songs were recorded as performed live without additional overdubs, and all electronics played and tweaked by hand.
