Everyday somebody gets killed
What's the deal it's 1995 and a nigga wanna live
The type of life that people dream, I want things
A crib, a car, while living the life of a king

Cee-Lo's verse brings a tear to my eye..... he really seems to speak to those who has lost someone close to them.

the best fucking hip hop album....you know why....because it lack no soul within all the songs without denying its southern roots....post hip hop syndrome. just because MTV doesn't play it, doesn't mean it sucks....the south deeply has something to say - my god this song, reminds me when i was playing chess with this dude, he told me this story about slavery, "have you ever felt the whip on a back of a black slave?" I said no...then he passed me this album, he told me to listen to this song when i am in a trench.

Real southen hip hop! We have a generation of people who think the south is all about snap, leanin, and trappin, but do your homework and you will see that the south has music that the whole world needs to pay attention to.
