Good Riddance was a punk rock band hailing from Santa Cruz, California. They formed in 1986 and after over twenty years, eight albums, and countless tours, played their farewell show in 2007. They played fast and explosive punk and hardcore music that was heavily influenced by the early American hardcore scene. The lyrical themes varied from political protests and analysis of the American society, to personal struggles and alienation. On occasion, the band had also been known to write slower, sometimes romantic songs.

Every member of the band is either vegan or vegetarian.
Reunion in 2012!

@Rotten_NOFXer: yes they are (or at least for shure they were!i don't know them directly so i can't talk about the present),for shure Russ is vegan and probably all the other members are/were or are/were at least vegetarian..most of their albums were benefit for many social groups/organizations/fundations,including many concerning animal rights...and,last but not least: go and give a listen at the song WASTE and take a look at the video on youtube! I know that song influenced many people to get vegan or at least vegetarian!

I don't understand how there are no Ballads From The Revolution and/or Symptoms Of A Leaveling Spirit on that top of the most listened album!! In my opinion those are not only their best albums but some of the best melodic/modern hc albums ever made! Stuff like that was a lot influent on me,way more than 10 years ago..time flies,awesome stuff never dies..

Yes, they are vegans. In my album "Ballads From The Revolution" it's written: "A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this album are being donated to P.E.T.A. and the Santa Cruz Aids Project"
