"I've been playing guitar since I was 12. Went to South Plains College Music School for three semesters and was lucky enough to study guitar under John Hartin who taught me much. I fronted the house band at the Blue Light on Buddy Holly Ave. in Lubbock while I was attending South Plains.
Singer/songwriter Alistair Blaik Bundale’s performance was mesmerizing. The rise and fall of his voice is full of unexpected moments – from quiet passion to, at points, sheer abandon (“Routine Things”, “Lonely”). Clearly he has fans – what seemed to be the entire bar joined him on “Under the Window”.
Through the course of a year A Horse & His Boy (AHAHB) has evolved from a solo project to a five-piece. At one time involving only samplers, the band has progressed into an impetuous presentation of heavy guitar, melodic basslines, and battling synths, with elaborate drum beats working through the chaos to hold the sound together.
