Good Luck Varsity is a pop rock band from Canton, Michigan. It was formed in October, 2006 after the breakup of The Rising Tide. It began with two former Rising Tide members, brothers Evan Baker and Jordan Baker. The brothers released two home demos in the fall of 2006 and went into the studio to record in the spring of 2007.

Summer, 2007 brought about the formation of a full band including Dan Bishop, Tim Paul, Richie Rich, and Drew Stoutenburg. They released the EP Head High, Heavy Hearted on September 14, 2007. The band went through a significant lineup change in the fall of 2008, with the original Baker brothers, Jen Wagner on guitar and vocals, and Wasim Bazzi on drums. They released their second EP The Road | The Rail | The Wreckage on May 1, 2009.

2010 saw the departure of Jordan Baker and Jen Wagner and the arrival of Cody Badgley and Ryan Graham. The band recorded Liars & Thieves, toured a lot and then hit the studio again to record Throneswhich will be released in Spring 2012.
