This is my favourite album all time! From the noise from The Dead Flag Blues to the epic end of Providence is this a masterpiece.

Unfortunate that I can't express my love for this band on their main page since the trolls have taken over... but yeah, this album rules. Here's a neat article I read about them today: http://pitchfork.com/features/resonant-frequency/7796-resonant-frequency-69/?utm_medium=site&utm_source=related-content&utm_name=features

The album that changed my perception of music and got me into post-rock. Even though I like Lift Your Skinny fists better, this still rules.

The title is a reference to the fact that the vinyl release has a locked groove where at the end of the album, it infinitely plays two tones, f# and a#. So AWESOME!

Why did they name it this?

That moment in Providence (Kicking Horse on Brokenhill: when everything comes together) has to be one of the greatest things I've ever heard. WHERE ARE YOU GOING......WHERE ARE YOU GOOOOOIIIIING?!
