Biography

There are at least 3 bands who used the name “Gods” or “The Gods”. The first was a Psychedelic Rock act from the UK featuring Ken Hensley who released 2 albums in the late 60’s before disbanding in 1970.

Another group, G.O.D.S., is a Norwegian rapduo.

GODE ORD DØR SIST (G.O.D.S.)
…contains of the two rapartists T-Fuzz and Børek, and is located in Trondheim, Norway.

Translating this Norwegian rapduo’s name is a hard task. It’s spelled G.O.D.S, but has nothing to do with religion. It’s a expression for the power of words, and means something like Great words never die.

GODS was also an alternative-metal band (with tints of industrial) started by Jessie Smith after his departure from his 10+ year tenure with ZAO. They released one album “I See You Through Glass.” but disbanded not long after.

ISYTG is decent. Not anywhere close to what I was hoping for though.

A friend just sent me a track by these folks. Not only is it emo sounding as fuck, but their singer sounds like the dude from Adema. Lame.

...Wow...I See You Through Glass is really bad. The entire time I was wondering who the heck was singing because I automatically assumed Jesse was just doing drums...and after listening, I looked...and was amazing to read it was Smith's voice hurting my ears. Wow.
