Anyone checking out this page needs to watch "Lawrence Of Belgravia". Still not out on DVD but there are occasional screenings. I saw it at ATP in November. Superb documentary that captures the idiosyncratic genius of Lawrence.

Regarding the EP, which is still to be released, I wrote to Cherry Red, and they said, "This item is not scheduled to be released at the moment, I think it won’t be until the Autumn at the earliest." What are they waiting for?

4 November 2008 - Barbican 'Lawrence of Belgravia' (Directed by Paul Kelly): Birmingham-born Lawrence (no surname) formed Felt in 1980 and ten years later they had become a major influence on 'indie' bands. He then split Felt to start Denim and later Go Kart Mozart. Wilfully eccentric, Lawrence had always seen himself as a major star, and is one of the greatest living songwriters never to appear on Top Of The Pops. Lawrence Of Belgravia may well explain why. UK 2008 Dir. Paul Kelly

Lawrence is supremely more talented than that other Go Kart Mozart band.
