BerlynnTix I adore this band, but their sound is just SO typical. At times, I cannot even bare it. All of the group shouting, the drum stick tapping and hand clapping, groovy upbeats, female lead with "unique" raspy tone, male lead dragging his voice, alternating tempos... all of it is just like, "Oh, wow, this is good. Would have been great had I not been there and done that.". I hate to say that but it's not hard given the fact that this is one of the more recent indie bands I have been listening to. Well, I haven't listened to much indie lately, so I suppose the proper term is latest... not recent. The point is, this band is indeed wonderful, but I guess I need to experience something new in order to appreciate their sound any more than what I currently do. Or maybe the problem is that I AM into something new. Wow, I am an over-thinker. Let me go...
