  • Two new demos on his myspace - check them out! www.myspace.com/gislirocks
  • wow... it never got fully released? I bought a copy off of amazon.co.uk...... I'm not sure how i did it, but i did... And i love it... GREAT album (possibly as great as the first)... I'm just upset that it never got fully released... It deserves it... So further message to gisli/whatever corporate-pants is running this page... RELEASE THE ALBUM (or if you aren't going to sell it, at least throw the tracks up for people to listen to... it's too good to have hidden in a closet somewhere!
  • My copy is promotional as well and I count myself lucky to own it as it is indeed brilliant. Anyway, you might like to check out Gisli's new band Half Tiger, either here or on myspace.
  • to answer your post I don't think the album is going to be officially released anywhere anytime soon (Amazon has an original Release Date of April 16, 2007). Basically as far as I can tell he is still signed to Waterfall (and by a co-publishing deal EMI). Although his site www.gisli.co.uk has been under-construction and "launching soon" for getting on for a year now, also waterfall's website is under-construction too so can't even check the artist profile there or something. The copy of the album that I have is a promotional copy and not an actual retail copy (I don't believe you can actually buy a real retail copy having scoured the internet myself). Although I do note that the "Gisli" text on his website is the same as that on the album cover. I'm guessing that the release fell though for some reason and the website to coincide with the release of the new album is therefore shelved too. All this really does suck because "Build-ups & Break-downs" is very very good.
  • wow... no one's posted since the last time i did.... Well... comment directed at gisli/whatever corporate-pants person is running this page of last.fm... Upload Build up & Break Downs please!
  • it hasn't been released in the US yet, but GO GET HIS NEW ALBUM!!! it's amazing!
  • I think his lyrics are brilliant
