There are 3 artists with the name GIL:
1- Gil (Gilmelândia Palmeira dos Santos), born September 20th of 1975, is a Brazilian singer and TV-Host. She started her carreer singin’ in bars and restaurants, and sang in underground pop-bands such as Pinote, Jóia, and Laranja Mecânica. She is mostly known for her unusual hair and lively performances, specially on Carnaval. She is now working as a TV-Host for “Viva a Noite”, a popular game-show/talk-show in Brazilian Network SBT.
2- Gil Doron Reichstadt Ofarim (born August 13, 1982 in Munich, Bavaria) is a German singer, songwriter and occasional actor, currently also known as the lead singer of the band Zoo Army. Gil’s showbiz career took-off in May 1997 when he was spotted in a Munich underground station by a talent scout for Bravo magazine and was asked to do a pictorial story spread. He sings in English and has never recorded a song in German. His Israeli father, Abi Ofarim, was a star in his own right, a folk artist, who had a group with his first wife Esther Ofarim. Gil’s mother, Sandy, is Abi’s third wife.
