Gidget Gein

Gidget Gein is most famous as the former bassist of Marilyn Manson & The Spooky Kids. He was born Bradley Mark Stewart on 9/11/69 in Florida, where he lived for most of his life.
In his early adult life, Brad went to clubs and DJ’ed for some, bumping into Brian Warner (Marilyn Manson) multiple times. After kicking out their former bassist, Manson invites him to be their replacement. Brad thus dubbed himself “Gidget Gein” in the famous pseudonym fashion of the band: Gidget, after the famous 60’s TV star surfer gal, and Gein, after the grave-digger and serial killer Ed Gein.

Soon, the whole image of Marilyn Manson to change from a “Nine Inch Nails and Nitzer Ebb” kind of thing, and introduces the band to the “dirty drugged out / Drag Queen vibe” they were famous for. However, when the band reached notoriety, Gidget Gein’s heroin addiction led to his expulsion from the band. Before they were done with their first album, Gein was kicked out of the band via a certified envelope from the band’s lawyers. He was then replaced by Twiggy Ramirez, a personal friend of Manson’s.
Gidget Gein then started life as a bag boy, being paid 20 dollars a piece to pick up dead bodies and bring them to morgues, funeral homes, and the like.
Later, he started his own band, The Dali Gaggers, who released one CD and a demo. The band consisted of himself, Al B. Damned, and Allistar Liddell. Their CD features the drummer bobby rondinelli, of Rainbow and Black Sabbath fame.

He was part of the UnPop art scene which I find unfortunate as I don't think he is anywhere as talented as the other members despite how typically UnPop his Zyclon B / Campbell's Soup piece is.

Gidget Gein sucked a gigantic, scaly, uncircumcised pterodactyl cock when he was alive, and he continues to gobble on the same cock now that his carcass is rotting, only now he licks pterodactyl balls, too. - Jim Goad

I thought I was pretty clear. GG is a loser who while claimed to be an artist on his own right pathetically hung onto his mariyln manson era stage name. He was a junkie, got sober, starting using again and died.

Whilst Zyclon B + Campbell's Soup is about as Unpop as you can get, he was an untalentled hack and it's a shame he was ever apart of that scene.

I am a real artist not just that guy who used to play bass for marilyn manson but was kicked out before they made it big. I'll prove it by continuing to use my marilyn manson moniker 15 years later. Hey guys I’m 7 years sober and you know what, maybe it’s time to give heroin another go?!

@b3ts13: you're wrong. "Just Ad Nauseam" was the title of the first issue, the album had been re-released as "Confessions..." under the moniker "Gidget Gein" just in time when all the Manson documentaries were coming out (such as "Demystifying The Devil"). A lot of people got aware of his name again then, so... it surely helped to sell some copies of this album. I got mine from him personally in those days + his experimental works and a few artistic prints years later. What a loss :( Fuck the drugs, I thought at some point in his life he had gotten away from it. But it's like it always is: you never get away once you've entered this vicious circle.

we miss u! :'( and by the way, the name of his band wasn't Gidget Gein & the dali gaggers or The dali Gaggers, it was: DALI GAGGERS! :') and confessions of a spooky kid is not the real name of the album. go see on Gidget Gein's wikipedia page ( ) and here it is the real album cover:
