George Mann is a longtime union organizer, anti-war activist and folksinger who plays music from the last century of struggle but also writes, records and produces songs and CDs.

He lives in New York and tours and travels constantly, with an emphasis on working with veterans and veterans’ organizations, anti-war groups and unions.  He worked with labor legend Julius Margolin until Julius died in 2009 at 93, and they created the anti-Bush “Hail to the Thief!” CD compilation series.

George also has two recent solo CDs, and produced the “Until You Come Home: Songs for Veterans and Their Kin” CD in 2010. He brings love, anger and power all together in his performances.
