Was never in much doubt

I really hate the chorus in this. The verse is fantastic. The disconnect between the joyous, euphoric music of the chorus and the depressing words makes the whole feel disingenuous.

Memories: That is what my parents listened to when I was 7. And I still love it. Although I recently realized, that I always missheard the lyrics...

I think that something good can be said about everything that Genesis has written. The least known and apparently lost gem is their first album From Genesis to Revelation. As everyone knows Turn it on Again is from their POP phase. Why even the R&R Hall of Fame eventually had something good to say about them.
