1. Geist
The dawn of the millennium saw the formation of Geist and with it a string of live gigs and even dabbing in their own music production. The internet as well as a strong live presence has given the band an opportunity to resonate a huge response from an ever growing fan base from all over Germany.
The current members of the band were formed in 2004 and after touring and playing at events such as the Alive Festival and the Kölner Ringfest, various Radio channels, Newspapers and Internet broadcasters sat up and took notice. The band managed yet again to create a wide spread resonance, reaching shores as far as San Francisco! Small labels and independent production companies contributed to the recording of a number of compilations.
March 30th 2007 will see the launch of Geist’s current LP “Für alle Zeit”, produced by Carsten Schmidt of Ezy Soundz at Danse Macabre Records/Alive. The rest of the year will be spent touring Germany, performing their latest Album from where the guys feel most at home…the stage.

Wo ist das Problem? Die Metaler hießen doch Geïst und nicht Geist. Jetzt heißen se Eïs und nicht Eis. Beachtet den zweiten I-Punkt, Leute... Die Streitigkeiten sind einfach nur sinnlos.

Rechtliche Streitigkeiten hin oder her. Die Gewinner des rechtlichen Streits könnten sich dann wenigstens eine ordentliche Beschreibung gönnen. Die Tags stimmen ja wohl nicht "mehr" und welche Musik wollen die jetzt spielen? Abgesehen davon, dass ich noch nie etwas von den Kölnern gehört habe, obwohl ich zwischen Köln und Bonn gewohnt habe... Egal... ...muss ich mich wohl an "Eis" gewöhnen. :D

Black metal Geist [2] The alternative Geist can go suck a chode. Threatening a lawsuit over another band having the same name is an act someone in Junior high might commit. It's even more hilarious considering the alternative Geist isn't even remotely popular.

Who is this alternative band from Cologne who threatened the black metal Geist with legal action, LOL? I know this is old news but I hadn't kept up with the band in some time. Anyway, these clowns can claim they were around in 2004 and droll up all that crap in defense of their actions, but the fact remains black metal Geist came out with Patina in 2005, and the glorious Kainsmal follow up LP in 2006, before they even had 1 record under their belt---which didn't debut until 2007. Get over yourselves faggots from Cologne!

1. Hieß die Band Geïst, nicht Geist und hat eine dementsprechende Seite: Geïst (vielleicht wäre es also angebracht, dass der eine oder andere seine Tags korrigiert) 2. Heißt die Band mittlerweile Eïs 3. Wäre es sinnvoller anstatt hier blöd herum zu heulen, im Last.fm Forum eure konstruktive Kritik zu posten damit die Last.fm Entwickler endlich die Möglichkeit für getrennte Seiten für Künstler mit gleichen Namen hinzufügen.

Beide Bands haben ihre Berechtigung zu bestehen ! Werdet erwachsen und öffnet euren musikalischen Horizont ! So eine anti Einstellung hatte ich in der 7. Klasse. Eine der beiden Bands wird augenscheinlich nicht mit zwei Punkten auf dem i geschrieben. Somit kann hier nur die andere Band falsch verzeichnet sein.
