Gáirín is the husband and wife duo of Tom and Mary Kay Aufrance, BMI - folk musicians and singer-songwriters who enjoy making music for audiences close to their home in Carson City, NV. You will find them on festival stages as well as in intimate settings, making music for wine tasting or coffee shop audiences.
Whether you enjoy songs that make you want to sing along, tunes that put a lilt in your step, or heartfelt ballads, you’ll find it with Gáirín. As singers with ties to the Ulster Scots who immigrated before the United States was born, this duo has a fondness for the music of the folks whose ancestors came over in big wooden boats, as well as all the traditional songs and tunes that they brought with them.
