Biography
The duo was formed in 2001 and made a name for themselves by creating numerous remixes; amongst their works include names such as New Order, Sarah McLachlan and Annie Lennox, to name but a few. The following year saw the release of their debut single, Lament.
Following their 2004 compilation album Bloom, their self-titled debut album, Gabriel & Dresden, was released on the duo’s own label, Organized Nature, in 2006. The album features guest appearances by Jan Burton, Molly Bancroft, and Scarlett Etienne.
As of March 2008, the duo decided to disband for the purpose of self-exploration as individual artists. The pair reunited in early 2011 and proceeded on a reunion tour, which began in San Francisco, CA on March 4, 2011.
