GP~00 (born Adam W. Flynn, in Manchester, UK) also releasing under monikers Perlieu, Modepth, and shelved projects Unflower and .Redshifts, is a UK-based instrumentalist/producer. GP~00 was his first project, conceived in 2005 around the time of his mid-late teens, focusing on sounds sourced mainly from guitar, and at first releasing solely via means of the internet, often referred to as being “Ambient” but as a whole, the output can be fairly eclectic and is somewhat not entirely intended as background audio.
with just a guitar, software and an extremely low-budget recording setup, GP~00’s first release was made in late 2006, an E.P. in collaboration with Asylum (now Plague Horse), entitled “New England”, and was shortly brought forward for a short-run CD release to then newly-founded Forgotten Empire Records, label of Brandon Helms (Autumn Is Forever/From Oceans To Autumn, Beneath Shattered Skies), going on to release many more digital E.P.s, a CD LP in 2007 and a follow up- titled Bloom in 2010 (Clearer Sky Recordings)
