(2007 – present)

GPKISM is the current music project of vocalist Gothique Prince Ken (GPK, ex-Flood of Rain) from Australia. Kiwamu (from ＢＬＯＯＤ) joined in 2008. Created in 2007 by GPK he attracted the attention of Kiwamu who contacted him on Myspace and signed him to his label Darkest Labyrinth. They have toured the US, Japan, Mexico and South America and Australia.

Their works revolve around love, fallen angels, forbidden love, sin and more recently have featured the theme of Countess Elizabeth Bathory.

GPKISM is the manifestation of baroque essence fused with electro/industrial sound, creating a unique world both decadent and sublime. Beginning in January 2007, GPKISM was originally the solo project of GPK. During this indie period he released one song on a European Compilation album & set up a myspace page. Kiwamu of BLOOD contacted him through Myspace and signed him to his label, Darkest Labyrinth. He released his debut mini-album “Sublimis” in Summer 2007 which had 400 copies pressed and sold out through Internet orders alone. In Autumn 2007 Kiwamu joined GPKISM.

In January 2008 they re-released Sublimis for a second time with 3 new tracks and limited to 666 copies (which is sold out as of February 2009). In April Ryonai (Blam Honey) joined them as a live member when he performed with them as guest at Alamode Night 31 feat. Darkest Labyrinth and GPK provided a remix for BLOOD’s “The Reaper behind me” album.

    OMG I wanna hear it! My nickname is "Sublimis" everywhere I go (even in my Twitter, Forum and between my friends etc) because the lyrics and the "sublimis" by itself where just... perfect match with me and my heart. So Sublimis is REALLY my favorite music. ~♥

    I'm glad you understand some of my points and that I was trying to be reasonable about the matter without offending anyone... I'm not religious, but I think people saying "Why should we tolerate religion if religious people are intolerant to everyone else?" is just going to lead us in circles. I have religious friends who laugh at me for believing in the theory of evolution whilst I keep my opinions on their beliefs to myself so I know that sometimes it can be hard to keep quiet but ultimately it pays to do so... to a point. We can only hope that one day everyone will learn to exercise a bit of respect. All in all I think this whole thing stemmed from, and has been exacerbated by misunderstandings. Also as GPK and I have both touched on, it would be a shame not to come together over the things you DO have in common, such as music...

    If that is your true intention you could have just left me a private msg than to broadcast your thought on the public forum and I would have handle this differently. Do please forgive me as I am an outspoken individual who sticks to the point. Further more I would not condone the act of making assumption on your religiosity or lack thereof. Neo-Nebula what you've done is honorable in my opinion, however your methodology of delivering your message is somewhat questionable. I would rather find our common grounds than to cause further division. We are here because we share similar taste in music and aesthetic, life is too short wasted on such matter. :) You have my apologies and forgiveness. The same shall be resolved for the said individual whom I've offended. It is my fault not to put any disclaimer on my Facebook page in the first place hence I am the one to blame for such offence.

    I ran out of space, so I want to add that I never had an intention to start a fight or anything. I just wanted things to get resolved, like that fan asked, but GPK never responded. And, obviously, I was shocked and angered by his reaction to it all. I don't hate GPK, I'm not going to start a hate war or anything. And I think Viragon has some really good points and I appreciate their honestly and open-mindedness. As of now, I just need away from this whole thing. I was only trying to do a good deed. Farewell~
