Fyfe Hutchins

Actual name of Fyfe Dangerfield, lead singer of Guillemots [www.guillemots.com], whose first album was Mercury-nominated in 2006.

Uses own name for classical compositions, such as ‘O Emmanuel’: 2000 choral commission from Ex-Cathedra Chamber Choir [www.ex-cathedra.org], recorded on Ex-Cathedra CD ‘Christmas Music by Candlelight’ in 2002 - standout track in review on Music Web International.

Also wrote ‘In Wait’ - 30-minute orchestral commission from CBSO, performed in October 2007 by cellist Eduardo Vassallo and CBSO conducted by Nick Ingman.

Using professional name, is also a member of Gannets - improvised music group.
