Biography
Matthew (FBA) first started producing and releasing records in 1996 on the now defunct and cult imprint, Void Records. After a string of singles for Void he moved onto record for the revered Ferox label and then Italy’s Archive label during the late 90s. Matthew’s first full-length LP ‘Disconnected’ was released on the Amsterdam based Delsin label in 2001, and he’s since released 12” singles on like-minded labels, Emoticon, Versatile, Suicide, Exalt, Recondite, Rush Hour and has also released an ambient album on Stefan Robbers Eevonext label.
in 2011 Future Beat Alliance signed to the legendary Berlin based, Tresor Records and also started a monthly residency (Radio Drama) at the Tresor club in Berlin where Matthew has played alongside Juan Atkins, Octave One, Mark Broom, Ivan Smagghe, Steve Rachmad, RedShape and co host vince Watson.
This Brings us all up to date in 2012 , where Matthew has finally just started his own label “FBA Recordings” for quite some time now it`s been Matthew`s ambition to have creative control over his music, as he was becoming tired of the waiting game often associated with signing music to small independent labels, matt can now decide what , where and how he wants to release his music.
Also in late 2012 Matthew was asked to score music to a short film “EREBUS” and he also produced the music for retail high street giant H+M for the men`s 2012/13 winter campaign ,which was directed by the Grammy Award winning film and music video director Jonas Akerlund
